Emilie Bausager is an award-winning garden designer and artist. Born in London, Emilie has lived in Copenhagen for the last ten years and looks to her partly British and partly Danish heritage to find inspiration for unique spaces. Her design style combines eclectic aesthetics influenced by historical references, with a scandinavian sensibility towards sustainablity and nature.
With a BA and MA from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts and a diploma in Garden design from the English gardening school, Emilie has developed a design studio that focuses on a holistic approach to garden design. Blending her creative education with practical needs to create landscapes that work for everyday life whilst still engaging with imagination and whimsy. Since opening her studio, Emilie has worked with clients in both the UK and Denmark, splitting time between the two countries. She has designed several show gardens and won multiple awards, most recently a gold medal at CPH Garden 2
