A plant lounge at Alive festival.
After a research trip to Thy, looking at the invasive and native species that are growing in this coastal landscape, I created a living lounge for visitors at Alive festival to meet, relax and explore the wider landscape surrounding the festival.

The work illustrates the constant battle between the invasive and native species and their ultimate combination. No matter how much we try to control nature, we can’t.

All of the elements were created using recycled tents from previous festivals.
