living murals

A public space project working with COC playful minds to produce a living sculptural space for the children to enjoy. Taking inspiration from artists and landscape architects, i structured a workshop where the children created drawings using colours that each referred to a specific plant. Using these drawings as planting plans, we created mounds for the children to plant and then explore throughout the seasons. In the summer months the colours used become clear and act as living murals.
